The media and text content block is a two-column layout that pairs an image with an HTML block, which can also support text and video and audio player embeds.

Like all content blocks, the content is mobile responsive.

There are several layout options available to best feature your content:

  1. Column alignment.  You can select for the image to appear on the left column or right column.
  2. Image cropping. If your image has lots of negative space, you can choose to "Fill Space and Crop". In this mode, the image may be drastically cropped but will always fill all available space in the column to create a visually pleasing design lockup. Use this mode if your image features with texture, color, and lots of negative space.
Or choose "Shrink to Fit" to ensure that your image is not ever cropped on any device size, at the expense of overall design alignment. Use this mode if your image features faces, text, or doesn't have any negative space.

Tips

  • In Fill Space and Crop mode, the image will lock to the full height of the Flexible Text area, including invisible whitespace.  Make sure you delete any trailing paragraphs in your content to make the design lockup as clean as possible.
  • The Media and Text block is intended for short summaries or overviews.  If you've got more content, consider adding a button to the bottom of your text block as a call to action to further details or action.
